Job Description Confidential Opportunity – Enclosure Builder (MIG Welding / Fabrication)
Compensation: $22–$28/hr (up to $30/hr based on experience) + Significant Overtime
Schedule: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM (typical), plus Saturdays as needed
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (strong long-term potential)

You’ll be joining a rapidly growing, well-established manufacturer supporting large-scale, high-profile data center infrastructure projects . They’ve recently secured major data center work tied to global tech leaders and are expanding facilities, adding headcount weekly, and investing heavily in long-term growth. This role focuses on building custom industrial enclosures used in critical infrastructure environments.
You’ll work from detailed blueprints to fabricate, fit, and weld structural and sheet metal components—playing a key role in delivering high-quality, engineered systems.
Perform MIG welding on sheet metal and structural components
Read and interpret complex mechanical blueprints
Measure, cut, and fit materials to tight tolerances
Perform full-cycle fabrication: layout → fit-up → weld → assembly
Use tools such as saws, grinders, drills, and precision measuring equipment
Operate overhead cranes and other shop equipment safely
3–5+ years of welding/fabrication experience (non-production environment preferred)

• Strong blueprint reading skills (large assemblies a plus)
• MIG welding required; Comfortable with hands-on fabrication—not just repetitive welding
• Experience with mechanical assembly is highly preferred
• Willingness to work overtime (up to 60–65 hrs/week when ramped)

Mix of indoor and outdoor work depending on project
