About the Role – Program Management Consultant

We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Program Management Consultant who excels at leading complex initiatives, aligning stakeholders, and driving enterprise transformation efforts from planning through execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong consulting mindset paired with disciplined program leadership—someone who can balance strategy and execution, navigate ambiguity, build trusted relationships, and create structure across large, matrixed organizations. This role requires strong communication skills, executive presence, organizational agility, change management awareness, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams while driving accountability and results.

This is a full-time consulting oportuni ty supporting enterprise clients across healthcare, financial services, energy, and other industries. Experience supporting enterprise technology implementations, ERP or HCM transformations (including Workday), and operating within regulated environments is strongly preferred.

As a Program Management Consultant, you will partner with client leadership and cross-functional teams to lead strategic initiatives, establish governance frameworks, manage program execution, and drive organizational outcomes across complex enterprise environments. You will help organizations deliver large-scale transformation efforts—including enterprise technology implementations, operating model changes, and business process modernization—by coordinating multiple projects and workstreams while ensuring alignment between business objectives, delivery execution, financial performance, and stakeholder expectations.

In addition to core program management responsibilities, you will facilitate executive decision-making, manage risks and dependencies, oversee program reporting and financials, and support organizational readiness efforts to ensure successful adoption and sustainable results. Lead enterprise programs and strategic initiatives from planning through execution, stabilization, and value realization while aligning stakeholders around shared business objectives.

Partner with business, technology, operations, HR, finance, risk, compliance, and executive leadership teams to define program goals, success metrics, governance structures, roadmaps, and execution plans.

Drive program delivery by managing timelines, budgets, forecasts, dependencies, risks, issues, resource plans, and governance cadences across multiple concurrent workstreams.

Support enterprise technology, ERP, HCM, and digital transformation initiatives—including Workday implementations and similar large-scale business transformation programs—ensuring coordination across functional, technical, and vendor teams.

Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, executive reporting, KPI tracking, financial oversight, and decision‑making processes that provide visibility into program health and strategic progress.

Partner with functional and technical teams to manage cross‑workstream dependencies, implementation readiness, testing milestones, deployment planning, and post‑go‑live stabilization activities.

Drive organizational readiness and change management activities to support stakeholder engagement, adoption, training, and realization of program benefits.

Create executive‑ready communications, presentations, status reporting, risk assessments, financial analyses, and audit‑ready documentation as required.

Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, mentorship, culture building, and continuous improvement initiatives within Ember.

Experience within healthcare, financial services, banking, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.

Experience supporting Workday, Oracle, SAP, or other enterprise ERP/HCM implementations or large‑scale technology transformation programs.

Experience managing cross‑functional implementation teams, third‑party vendors, systems integrators, and executive stakeholders.

Strong understanding of program financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning.

Familiarity with enterprise governance models, PMO frameworks, implementation methodologies, and portfolio management practices.

Experience supporting organizational change management, business readiness, testing, cutover planning, or post‑go‑live stabilization efforts.

10+ years of experience in Program Management, PMO Leadership, Project Management, Transformation Delivery, Enterprise Implementations, or related consulting roles.

Experience supporting enterprise application implementations, digital transformation, ERP/HCM programs, or similar business transformation initiatives is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of program governance, risk management, financial management, and structured delivery methodologies.

Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.

Excellent communication, facilitation, executive stakeholder management, and relationship‑building skills.

PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, Prosci, or related certifications are a plus.

Bachelor's degree required; This is a full‑time consulting opportunity supporting hybrid client environments based on engagement needs and team collaboration expectations. Candidates should be comfortable operating in both remote and onsite settings as client engagements require.
