The Villa at Marymount is a mission-driven skilled nursing and assisted living community dedicated to exceptional resident care, teamwork, and a supportive environment. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN SpeechLanguage Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team and support residents in achieving their highest level of communication, cognition, and swallowing function.

The PRN SpeechLanguage Pathologist provides high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services to residents with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders. This role supports both skilled nursing and assisted living residents, focusing on individualized treatment plans that enhance safety, independence, and quality of life.

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing evaluations

Provide therapy for communication disorders, dysphagia, cognitive impairments, and voice issues

Complete documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals

Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies, swallowing safety, and compensatory techniques

Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility guidelines

Current Ohio SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing

Master’s degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program

CFY considered with appropriate supervision

Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care strongly preferred

Ability to work independently and adapt to changing resident needs
