In the role of Senior Economist, we'll count on you to:

Direct, plan and design research to aid in interpretation of and solution of complex problems with economic relationships

Conduct economic modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and risk or financial analysis

Study economic and statistical data in area of specialization

Devise methods and procedures for collecting and processing data, utilizing knowledge of available sources of data and various econometric and sampling techniques

Formulate recommendations, policies or plans to aid in market interpretation or solution of economic issues

Take responsibility for marketing economic consulting services

Plan and develop project activities with significant impact as needed

Plan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and support staff as needed

Work at local project sites and have regular client contact as needed

Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Economics

A minimum of 10 years experience including staff management and development, client interaction and proposal writing

Experience in Excel, Limdep, SAS, SPSS, Eviews and MS Access

VB programming experience is a plus

Ability to interact with clients on a regular basis

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
