Job Overview A law firm seeks a Product Liability and Consumer Disputes Lawyer specializing in regulatory compliance and product safety in Austin, TX. The role involves advising on product development, testing, and compliance with standards, as well as managing national and international product recalls.
Duties Advise on product safety and consumer product recalls, including CPSC reporting and recall management.
Provide guidance on regulatory compliance affecting retail and consumer markets.
Represent clients in federal and state enforcement actions and investigations.
Requirements J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
3+ years of experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
Experience in regulatory compliance, product safety, and consumer protection laws.
Knowledge of federal and state regulatory frameworks.
Exceptional legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple regulatory matters and compliance investigations.
Education J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications Active bar membership.
Skills Strong academic credentials.
Experience with compliance collateral in retail and consumer markets.
Knowledge of ESG and supply chain dynamics.
