RN - Emergency Department (Healthcare)

Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Location: West, TX
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM, Rotating Weekends
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergencies, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patient conditions in the emergency department.
Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on medical needs.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in delivering optimal patient care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Assist with procedures such as intubation and central line placement.
Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech Expanse EMR.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Active RN license in Texas.
ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required.
Emergency response and patient experience skills are a must.
TNCC certification preferred.
