Material Handler/Warehouse/Inventory* NIGHT SHIFT*

Material Handler- 12 Hour Night Shift
The Material Handler is responsible for the movement of material throughout the site. This may include loading/unloading of trailers and movement of raw materials, work in process, and finished goods. Move material to/from raw, WIP, Finished, Shipping, Receiving, and manufacturing areas.
Unload/load trucks/tankers with incoming/outgoing materials. Verify materials against receiving/shipping documents.
Complete appropriate transactions to document the movement of material within the Inventory Management System.
Support inventory accuracy: Complete warehouse and departmental cycles counts and correct discrepancies. Help manage winding drum and rack inventories.
Raw/Finishing warehouse: Pick up and transfer material racks, pallets, and other consumable supplies to/from production areas as required. Condense warehouse space and maintain good housekeeping.
Correct and/or report all unsafe conditions immediately.
Perform duties to continuously improve quality and productivity.
Assist in equipment maintenance activities as directed.
Communicate and coordinate necessary information to appropriate department/shift employees to ensure effective operations.
Lead in the recycling of pallets, cardboard, and scrap materials.
Support all 5S housekeeping activities.
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.

Must be able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
Must demonstrate proficiency with computer applications, especially strong MFG Pro transactional skills.
3-5+ year's previous material handling experience.
