Job Description for Attorney - Civil Litigator

As a Civil Litigation attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in legal matters involving civil disputes. You will advocate for our clients' rights and represent them throughout the entire litigation process including at various legal proceedings as necessary. Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs

Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies

Manage all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation

Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends

Represent clients in various legal proceedings.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Active license to practice law in the state of Maine

Experience in civil litigation

Strong analytical, research, and writing skills

Ability to travel to private and public buildings locally and statewide via private or public conveyance to attend to client needs on legal matters.
