As a Construction Estimator at Buchanan Company, Inc., you will play a vital role in our project development process. This position is essential for ensuring accurate cost assessments and effective project management, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality products and services.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects involving rubbish and linen chutes.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine necessary resources and labor.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets and timelines.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
- Utilize estimating and software for accurate calculations.
- Proven experience in construction estimating multi-family and commercial fields.
- Excellent project management skills with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.
- Familiarity with estimating and project management software.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with contractors and suppliers.
