The School of Nursing welcomes applications from Master's-prepared nurse educators with clinical experience for part‑time, adjunct faculty positions. The School has clinical instructional opportunities for well-qualified nurse educators Tues. morning, afternoon, and evening - in our expanding undergraduate program.

Please note that applications will remain active for 1 year. Part‑time, contract faculty member with appropriate nursing specialization to teach in undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Faculty responsibilities include teaching in classroom, clinical, and/or simulation environments in baccalaureate courses for adult health, medical‑surgical, psychiatric mental health, pediatrics, critical care, childbearing families, and other courses as appropriate; and/or teaching in the Family Nurse Practitioner, Educator, and/or Administrator Track of the MS in Nursing program.

Teach in classroom, clinical, and/or simulation environments in baccalaureate courses and/or teach in the online MS in Nursing program.

Keep abreast of recent developments in nursing and incorporate into teaching.

Actively contribute to the professional life of the School of Nursing, the College of Health, and Ball State University.

Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university by the date of appointment; Clinical nursing experience in area of teaching; Ability to use and integrate technology in nursing education.

Teaching experience in higher education;

Earned doctorate in nursing or related field from an accredited college or university.

National certification as an NP (if teaching in the FNP track of the MS program).
