Managing Counsel - Remote work
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support a growing legal function, the full-time Employment Counsel will manage day-to-day employment law matters, provide legal advice on workplace policies and compliance, and utilize AI tools to enhance legal services in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
Own and advise on employment law matters, including workplace policies, investigations, and employee relations
Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documents and manage compliance infrastructure
Collaborate with various business stakeholders to translate legal risks into actionable recommendations
Required qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
4-5 years of relevant legal experience, including at least 2 years in employment law
Experience with employment compliance, policies, and investigations
Demonstrated ability to work outside a narrow specialty and develop practical knowledge of various legal issues
Hands-on experience using AI tools for legal research and drafting with a focus on verification and confidentiality
