Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care Surgery Center (Full Time

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Perform the perioperative nursing role including preoperative assessment of the patient.

• Formulate nursing care plans.
• Implement operative care plans.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and appropriateness of nursing care provided, documenting accordingly.
• Assist in the setup and performance of surgical cases by assembling equipment and supplies according to sterile technique.
• Open sterile packs, instruments, and supplies for surgery per sterile technique.
• Prepare patients for surgery by positioning them appropriately and preparing the operative site.
• Confirm the procedure and site with the surgical team.
• Perform surgical counts (sponges, sharps, and instruments), documenting nursing care on legal records.
• Assist in the cleanup of the operating room following surgery.
• RN License required Certifications: None specified Must-Have: One year of surgical experience; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Description: Medical, dental & vision insurance
