Store Merchandiser/ Cashier

Greet customers on the sales floor and direct them to product or to parts specialist.

Check out customers and deter shoplifters.

Keep the front area stocked and fronted; stock merchandise according to planograms or displays; complete sales preparation.

Merchandiser duties include greeting customers, assisting them in locating merchandise or directing them to parts specialist if hard parts are needed.

Check in, price, and put up stock.

Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and clean daily.

Make all out-front price changes and ensure sale signs are in place; stock sales flyer rack and maintain sale merchandise quantities.

Remove sale materials when sale ends and restore original pricing.

Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.

Work with manager to complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks.

Act as main shoplifting deterrent and front floor security.

Clock in/out according to company policy.

Cashier duties include checking out customers purchasing front floor merchandise quickly and friendly.

Handle merchandise returns in a friendly and efficient manner.

Assist customers when the express lane is not utilized and the counter is busy by finishing tickets and processing payments.

Previous cashier and/or stocking experience; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Compensation Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
