Head of Technical Programme Management

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager II to join the Finance Data & Experiences (FD&E) organization and lead strategic reporting modernization and business transformation initiatives across Microsoft Finance. In this role, you will own end-to-end delivery of complex programs that improve financial reporting, automate business processes, and enable better business decisions through modern data and analytics solutions. You will work across Finance, Engineering, Data Platform, and Business Operations teams to define vision, align stakeholders, manage execution, and drive measurable business outcomes.The ideal candidate combines strong program management skills, business acumen, technical depth, and stakeholder influence. Drive end-to-end business transformation initiatives that modernize finance operations, accelerate adoption of AI-enabled capabilities, and deliver measurable business value. This role partners across Finance, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams to define strategy, execute programs, and ensure realization of expected outcomes.
Lead complex cross-functional programs that support finance modernization and operational transformation.
Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, Data, and Vendor organizations to align priorities and execution plans.
Manage program risks, dependencies, communications, and executive reporting.
Drive adoption and change management for new capabilities, processes, and tools.
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
~1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

• 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., Experience leading large-scale business or technical transformation programs.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience with finance, business operations, process improvement, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution.
• Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
