Your Role as a PCU RN:

As a PCU (IMCU) RN, you'll play a vital role in bridging the gap between critical care and med-surg. You'll care for high-acuity patients recovering from surgery, cardiac events, or those requiring close observation. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy complexity, collaboration, and constant growth.

Assess patient condition upon admission and throughout each shift Administer medications and monitor patient responses Document care accurately and promptly in the medical record Perform provider-ordered procedures and interventions Serve as a patient advocate to ensure a compassionate, high-quality care experience Stay current on medications, equipment, and procedures related to cardiac and medical-surgical care

Active RN license (Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required) 1+ year of recent acute care PCU experience ER or 3+ years of acute Med-Surg also considered (must be recent) BLS within 30 days of start ACLS within 60 days of start Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care

Day Shift Rotating Weekends Night Shift Rotating Weekends

Hourly Pay Based on Experience: $26.40$27.72 (01 YOE) $34.32 (78 YOE) Max $39.60 (15+ years of experience) Night Shift Differential: +$4/hr Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
