Senior Auditor/Accountant
DP George & Company is seeking auditors with two or more years of experience to perform on advisory and audit engagements in the Federal Government sector. Planning and performing tasks in conducting audits; Preparing or auditing Federal Financial Statements

Reporting of audit findings and making recommendations

Analyzing interrelated issues on the impact of significant budgetary or accounting events on multi-appropriated fund accounts, such as allocations, commitment, obligations, cost, and disbursement to determine the integrity of the ledger balances

Processing and validating accounting transactions and data

Two plus years of audit experience

S. in Accounting or Bachelors Degree in a related field with at least 24 credit hours in Accounting

Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel and Access)

Ability to travel 20 - 30% annually

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

CPA candidate or CPA license
