(Full-Time) Interpreter

Step into a meaningful role as an onsite interpreter supporting a kindergartner who is beginning their journey with sign language. This full-time, contract position is perfect for someone passionate about making a difference, as you'll provide dedicated 1:1 interpreting for a young student who is completely deaf and just starting to learn sign language. Current certification and license as a Sign Language Interpreter
Experience working in elementary school settings, ideally with 1:1 student support
Knowledge of strategies for supporting children who are new to sign language
Comfort and creativity in providing visual supports for learning
Deliver 1:1 sign language interpreting to a kindergartner throughout the school day (approximately 7:30-2:30)
Use visual tools and other resources to enhance understanding and communication
