Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide patient care in a fast-paced environment, participating in a variety of procedures and monitoring patients' conditions.
Responsibilities
Circulate and monitor cases in a procedure setting.
Assist in performing electrophysiology (EP) cases, including implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), pacemakers, and ablations for atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia, and atrial fibrillation.
Provide care for cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization patients.
Work collaboratively with scrub techs and other staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in emergent stroke cases and be prepared for quick response times.
Qualifications
Current and valid nursing license.
ACLS, BLS Certification, and NIHSS Certification required.
Experience in pre-operative or post-operative care preferred.
IR experience is beneficial.
Must not have been employed at any associated facilities within the past year.
Work Environment
The position requires floating between multiple locations within the region, primarily working in a dedicated procedure area. The facility operates primarily with three cath labs and handles a minimum of 5 to 7 cases daily, with potential for up to 15 cases on busier days. Staff are cross-trained for various roles, including monitoring during procedures.
Shifts and On-Call Requirements
This position is daytime shifts, typically from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with responsibilities including on-call duties approximately 10-11 days per month, including one weekend. The expected response time for call duties is within 30 minutes.
