Job Summary:

A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is needed in Glenview, Illinois. This role involves working in a busy acute care hospital setting, primarily within Main PACU and CVI PACU under the same management. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The position offers rotating start times between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., with shifts ending at 8:30 p.m. Candidates should be prepared to work a schedule totaling 36 hours per week.

Shift Hours: 8 hours per shift with a rotating start time between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., ending at 8:30 p.m.

Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Required Qualifications: Illinois Licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 3+ years of solid acute care hospital experience, including critical care PACU experience; at least one travel contract completed; submission with passed electrocardiogram (EKG) test at 80% or higher.

Schedule: Rotating start times, 36 hours per week (9-hour shifts).

Floating: Will work in Main PACU and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVI) PACU, with the same manager/hospital.

Weekend Requirements: Call for 2 weekday or 24-hour weekend shifts during a 6-week schedule.

On-Call Requirements: 4-5 weeknights (8 p.m. 7 a.m.) and 2-24-hour weekend shifts during a 6-week schedule.

Orientation: 4 hours (non-billable).

Credentials Due: Wednesday prior to start date.
