Material Handler/Forklift OperatorRugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non-structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end-products for the commercial, industrial, retail, residential and institutional markets.Position: We are growing and seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator. The Material Handler is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving, unloading, and storing material, as well as picking and loading products for our customer orders.Shift Times: 6:30am – 3:00pmCompetitive Medical – Dental – VisionCorporate Wellness & Appreciation Programs401(k) Traditional & Roth with MatchPaid Time Off & Paid HolidaysLife Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term DisabilityGreat TEAM environmentYour Day-to-Day: To crush it in our warehouse, you'll need to:Offload trucks with materials from our vendor and load trucks with product to ship to our customers.Operate a forklift; forklift operator experience and certification are a plus!Take ownership for maintaining inventory counts with your work area.Ensure that material loaded for delivery matches customer orders.Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policiesLift extremely heavy, awkward products (up to 50-100 pounds with a helper) repeatedly to store and load onto a truck.Strong physical stamina – this role requires a lot of physical activity.Highly organized and self-motivated – you should be a self-starter who doesn't require constant supervision.Experience in warehouse operations, with forklift experience and certification a plus!We will accomplish this goal by creating an environment where each team member is challenged to achieve their personal best using their talent, together building a community based on our values of Fairness, Commitment to Excellence, and maintaining Rugby as a Performance Meritocracy.
