Tree of Knowledge Learning Academy, a fast-growing, client and therapist-focused company is seeking a strong Occupational Therapist to join our team!
Conducting comprehensive evaluations to determine a child's strengths and weaknesses in areas like fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.

Reviewing medical history and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Treatment Planning:
Developing individualized therapy plans that address specific needs and goals.

Therapy Delivery:
Providing one-on-one or small group therapy sessions.

Working closely with families to educate them about their child's needs and to provide strategies for home practice.

Collaborating with other professionals, such as physical therapists, speech therapists, and educators, to ensure a coordinated approach to care.

Advocate for children's needs and rights.

Monitoring and Adjustment:
Monitoring a child's progress throughout therapy to ensure they are meeting their goals and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Clinical Skills: Strong assessment, treatment planning, and therapy skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and other professionals.

Interpersonal Skills: Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with children and families.

Understanding of typical and atypical child development.

Ability to work in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, and clinics.

Documentation Skills: Ability to accurately and thoroughly document assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
