Critical Care Registered Nurse for Level II Trauma Unit
This is a 13-week contract position.
NOC shift, 12-hour shift, starting at 1900 hours.
The position requires a Critical Care Registered Nurse specializing in a Level II trauma NT/SICU unit with a 12-bed capacity, featuring a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to neuro/trauma patients and should be comfortable managing patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains. Additionally, this role may involve floating to the Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med/Surg units as needed.
Provide high-quality care to critical care patients with complex needs.
Monitor and manage patients using ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Float to various units including Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, and Med/Surg as needed.
At least 5 years of acute critical care experience.
Experience with EPIC charting.
Demonstrated Level II trauma critical care experience.
Current California RN license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Previous traveler experience is required.
