Wound Care SpecialistThe Wound Care Specialist is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing comprehensive care for patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and both acute and chronic wounds. This role involves providing education and support to patients and their families regarding the evaluation, selection, and recommendation of supplies and equipment necessary for optimal wound and ostomy care.ScheduleMonday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (No Holidays or Weekends)Job DescriptionThe Wound Care Specialist is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing comprehensive care for patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and both acute and chronic wounds. This role involves providing education and support to patients and their families regarding the evaluation, selection, and recommendation of supplies and equipment necessary for optimal wound and ostomy care.ResponsibilitiesAssess patient needs related to wound care.Plan and implement individualized care strategies for patients.Educate patients and families on wound care management.Recommend appropriate supplies and equipment for optimal care.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMandatory Wound Care Certification with a minimum of 3 years of experience.American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
