Hospitalist Opportunities Available - 30 minutes from Durham, NC!! Hospitalist Description (Day-Shifts only): Type of provider needed: Hospitalist; board certified Internal Medicine
Specify hours: 7am - 7pm, 7 days on, 7 days off, Monday - Sunday

Anterior Nasal Packing
Cardiovascular Diseases
EKG Interpretation
Endocrine/Metabolism conditions
Infectious Diseases
Insertion of Arterial Line
Insertion of CVP Line
IV Conscious Sedation (IVCS) [administration and supervision]
Management of patient on ventilator
Lumbar Puncture
Neurological assessments and basic treatments
Paracentesis
Assessment and treatment of Pulmonary Diseases
Thoracentesis
Thrombolytic Therapy of Acute MI
Treatment of Conjunctivitis
Treatment of Poisoning
Chest Tubes
Endotracheal Intubation
Emergency Medicine Privileges
Treat acute back pain
Treats ages 14 and up
Practice Description Hospital employed position
Average patient encounters per day Between 7am - 7pm: approx 3 - 5 admissions
Rounds: 8-12 patients
Discharges: 2-3 patients
In house Consults: rare
Pre-op consults: intermittent
Office Space: Office located within ICU suite
Hospital: 62 licensed beds
Daily census average: 28-32
EMR: Meditech
Other Expectations Attend Medical Staff Meetings / meets every other month
Serves/Leads on Committees as needed
Office Space - Office located within ICU suite

Compensation Salary - $210,00 base salary
Incentive Pay Yes, based on wRVU
Potential Salary with incentives = $250,000
Relocation & Sign On Relocation Expenses - Negotiable
