Head of Sales & Customer Service

Directly supervises the Sales and Service technicians in the field, establishing and implementing sales training to ensure maximum effectiveness. Prospects and solicits new business for both the commercial and residential sides of the organization, as business need dictates. Interacts with customers on a daily basis providing them information and recommendations about service, equipment and options available. Responsible for meeting company sales goals and financial objectives.

Responsibilities include: reviewing estimator's and technician's sales performance; addressing sales performance related issues as needed; riding along and/or meeting with technicians while they are on job sites to review their performance after the appointment; assisting technicians with sales-related work assignments providing sales training or advice as needed on a daily basis. follows company policies for interviewing, hiring, and training; Manages and resolves customer complaints involving any type of issue; obtains technician's account of the appointment whenever possible. Provides sales training to estimators and technicians. Acts as a backup for the Service Technicians. Works with Senior Management to set sales goals and ensure that all technicians maintain focus to meet and exceed goals. Experience in Sales coaching.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; supplemented by five or more years' proven sales experience estimating, bidding, and closing deals directly with customers (Business to Customer experience); or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services to include marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Skill in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, and Excel). Skill in developing and delivering engaging and effective training programs. Skill in selecting and using appropriate training/instructional methods and procedures when learning or teaching new things. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Ability to follow complex instructions and communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to plan, organize, and execute the daily activities required to manage the sales activities of the company.
