Travel Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer Day Shift Job

Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech – Ultrasound Tech, Burlington, Vermont, Start Date 07/27/2026, Duration 16 weeks, Weekly pay $2,735–$2,885, Shift 5x8 Days, Hospital-based travel assignment. This position requires ARDCS (ARDMS or CCI) certification, BLS, and EKG recognition, along with a minimum of two years’ ultrasound experience and recent EPIC EMR work. The assignment may include float to an outpatient facility and call coverage as needed.
Weekly pay: $2,735–$2,885 per week
- Contract duration: Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week
- Hospital travel assignment in Burlington, VT; may float to outpatient facility; Mileage-based pay tiers are used to determine rates (direct-line mileage: local, radius, travel)
Perform ultrasound examinations, with emphasis on adult echocardiography in the echo lab, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
- Acquire, label, and document images accurately; document findings in the EPIC EMR and communicate with cardiology as appropriate
- maintain efficiency while adhering to image quality standards
- May float to an outpatient facility and collaborate with other teams; Follow facility and regulatory protocols for infection control, safety, and documentation; Minimum of 2 years ultrasound experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (equivalency) accepted
- Ability to work in a hospital setting; Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment
- Ongoing assignment support and resources to optimize performance
- Travel coordination and administrative assistance as needed
