Physician - care surgeon

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Vascular Surgeon to join our growing vascular team. This full-time, hospital-employed position offers a balanced schedule with dedicated outpatient clinic time, inpatient rounding, and operative time. The practice is supported by a hybrid operating room exclusively used by the vascular surgery team, and an on-site vascular ultrasound team located at the outpatient clinic. The vascular surgeon will join a collaborative team consisting of two vascular surgeons and four dedicated nurse practitioners. Perform outpatient evaluations and follow-up care in the clinic setting

Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care, including open and endovascular procedures

Manage preoperative and postoperative care for vascular surgery patients

Collaborate with a skilled vascular ultrasound team to assist with diagnosis and surveillance

Participate in shared call coverage among the vascular surgery team

Participate in training of general surgery residents
