The WorkManages systems engineering and software engineering activities. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Ensures software standards are met.As a Manager within the Readiness Integrated Engineering department, you will lead a multi-discipline team of approximately 15-20 engineers executing the design and development of products within the Readiness product line.Readiness Integrated Engineering develops products which span several markets segments and programs including Aegis CSL, Aegis BMD, Solid State Radar, Space Fence, and Laser. In this role you will partner with the department and the MDSE IE Organization to advance our products, processes, and technologies as we look to evolve our engineering practices to best execute current work and win future opportunities.
