Oncology job in ME (Physician #)

CHRISTUS Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering compassionate, cutting-edge medical care. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary team, which is known for excellence in oncology services and comprehensive patient care.

The Radiation Oncologist will be responsible for diagnosing and developing personalized treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with a team of medical professionals, including medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and oncology nurses, to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Administer and oversee radiation therapy treatments.

Collaborate with other oncology specialists and multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance standards in radiation treatment.

Engage in clinical research or continuous improvement projects, as applicable.

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

Board certification (or eligibility) in Radiation Oncology.

Valid medical license to practice in Louisiana

Strong clinical expertise in radiation therapy planning and delivery.

Dedication to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficiency with advanced radiation therapy techniques (e.g., Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
