Perini Management Services, Inc. is a full-service construction firm that has delivered design-build and design-bid-build projects for more than four decades, supporting federal and international operations.
Preconstruction Estimator – In‑person, Home office in Framingham, MA
Review project solicitation documents for accuracy and completeness, develop questions related to assigned scope of work.
Solicit subcontractor/vendor quotations, prepare and distribute bid document packages, respond to inquiries, being knowledgeable of scopes and responsibilities.
Evaluate and analyze subcontractor/vendor proposals for accuracy (quantities, schedule, inclusions, exclusions).
Prepare subcontractors/vendors price analysis sheets.
Assist with purchasing and definition of subcontractor/vendor agreements and scope of work.
Ability to work independently and in a team with multiple projects simultaneously.
Understand construction documents and develop scopes of work.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word primarily).
Knowing On‑Screen take‑off software or similar – a plus.
Knowledge of estimating software – Sage Estimating (Timberline) experience a plus.
Experience with Government projects – a plus.
Experience with sitework, concrete, steel, or building interiors – a plus.
Easy access to the Framingham MA office location.
