Copeland Insurance Group, headquartered in Longview, Texas.

Job Summary The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for organizing, overseeing, and providing administrative support to the office.

Responsibilities Answer calls and greet visitors.

Conduct all activities and perform all job duties and functions following established, company implemented safety behaviors, processes, and procedures.

Work with Manager and leadership on general administrative duties as assigned.

Communicate effectively and professionally with employees, customers, support staff, Agents, and other business contacts (in person, over the phone, in writing, and via email).

Perform customer service duties as necessary.

Any other duties as assigned by Manager.

Sort incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.

Negotiate the purchase of office supplies, office equipment, etc. for the branch in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.

Responsible for the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, phone systems, etc.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.

2+ years’ experience in Office Management or Administrative function.

Clerical background preferred.

Insurance Office Experience preferred.

Ability to work with confidential information.

Verbal and written communication skills, both internal and external.

MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).

Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently and effectively without supervision.

Detail-oriented, organized, objective, consistent, and analytical.

Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure in fast-paced work environment.

Follow established guidelines, policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.
