Tax preparers - accounting

Preparation of annual reports and business licenses.

Assist in preparation of income tax returns.

Preparation of sales/use and property tax returns.

Assist in unclaimed property tax issues.

Assist in preparation of transfer pricing documentation.

Assist in preparation of the quarterly and annual income tax provision.

Provide third party tax consultants various financial data and resolve billing issues.

Contact various tax authorities to address and respond to tax notices.

Perform processing of tax payments and other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of tax experience in a Corporate Tax Department, professional accounting or tax certification preferred.

Candidates must be within 250 miles of an APL Logistics facility or office.

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in tax preparation, including income tax returns, sales/use tax returns, and property tax returns, while effectively communicating with tax authorities and third-party consultants. Proficient in handling administrative tasks related to tax payments and compliance documentation.
