Associate Veterinarian - Surgery Services offered!

Touhy Animal Hospital, a full-service small animal veterinary clinic in Niles, Illinois, is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our close-knit, compassionate team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, dental, and preventive care to dogs and cats while building strong, long-term relationships with clients and their pets. You will perform thorough physical examinations, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, interpret laboratory and imaging results, and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions with a focus on high-quality, individualized patient care. Surgical responsibilities may include routine soft tissue procedures such as spays, neuters, lump removals, and basic wound and emergency surgeries, while dental responsibilities involve oral examinations, dental radiograph interpretation, and extractions as indicated. Preventive care will be a core part of your day, including vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutrition counseling, and wellness planning tailored to each life stage.
