Position Overview As a Paralegal at Schloemer Law Firm, you will provide essential support to our attorneys and assist with managing cases from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by drafting and reviewing legal documents, motions, pleadings, and correspondence.

Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support case strategy, including reviewing statutes, case law, and legal articles.

Client Liaison: Communicate directly with clients to gather information, update them on case progress, and provide general support throughout the legal process.

Document Management: Organize and maintain case files, documents, and records in an efficient manner, ensuring compliance with firm policies and legal standards.

Prepare, file, and track court documents, ensuring adherence to deadlines and applicable rules.

Administrative Tasks: Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for attorneys and clients.

Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. No certification or prior experience required – we will train you and provide access to professional education opportunities.

Prior office or customer service experience is preferred, but not required. Legal office experience is a plus.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with basic office equipment (phones, copiers, printers) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
