Mission TAR's mission is to power intelligence for the world. We are building the world's first off-grid power plant for data centers powered by renewable technologies.
To deliver on this vision, TAR manufactures, deploys, and operates off-grid energy assets with a renewable backbone. We vertically integrate to solve every bottleneck, from racking systems to power electronics to dispatch algorithms to on-site construction.
Company We are a team of seasoned operators run by founders who previously scaled a company to over 80 people and $350M in annual sales. TAR is both a hardware and software company, we are building out massive, critical, physical infrastructure.
Own project end-to-end. Great people don't need to be managed.
Solving the energy problem is one of the largest challenges that faces the world now and in the future. The role As an extension of the founders of the company, you will work on the hardest challenges in the business alongside them. Project Delivery: make sure multi-GW projects get delivered on time and help fill in any gaps alongside our construction, procurement, and development teams.
Special Projects: jump on anything that is hard to solve and needs a smart solution, like standing up new functions from zero to one and owning them until they're ready to hand off.
Financing: support on complex equity financing and project financing transactions involving billions of dollars of CAPEX.
Hiring: help hire the team from juniors to executives. Help form company culture.
Firefighting: help troubleshoot the daily problems that come up, like finding a last-minute replacement supplier or driving to the customer site to solve a contractor's problem.
Who you are 5+ years of professional experience in high-performance environments in startups, consulting, finance, engineering, military, or similar.
Demonstrated execution ability across a variety of complex projects.
Can own projects end-to-end.
