Autonomy Staffing is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality commercial espresso and super-automatic bean-to-cup machines. Contribute to new product development, sustaining engineering, and manufacturing support projects .
Work hands-on with electromechanical and fluid systems , applying problem-solving skills in both R&D and production environments.
Create and review engineering CAD models and drawings .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, technical support, sales, and manufacturing.
Continuously improve product designs and enhance the user experience.
Bachelors or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
At least four years of engineering experience in product development, automation, or manufacturing support.
Strong skills in SolidWorks for design, analysis, and documentation.
Knowledge of ANSI drawing standards, tolerancing, and GD&T .
Ability to perform thermal, structural (static and dynamic), and flow analysis .
Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and manufacturing troubleshooting.
Understanding of manufacturing methodologies like Kaizen, just-in-time, and batch processing.
Project management experience.
Passion for coffee and knowledge of the industry.
Experience with Smartsheet and firmware development .
This position requires on-site work in Renton, WA .
Candidates must reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate without assistance .
