Pay Range $20.59 - $21.21 per hour + eligible for $3.00 per hour shift differential for working the overnight (3rd) shift

This Residential Counselor will work in our Shelter Staff program and will be responsible for working closely with clients in a congregate emergency residential shelter site, to provide life skills support to individuals who are staying at the shelter. This position also provides oversight of site operations, which include enforcing safety measures, program rules, and expectations using a trauma-informed and client-centered approach. providing guidance and information to clients regarding the daily activity schedule, house rules and policies; completing housekeeping duties; providing emergency crisis management to individuals.
Ensure the safety of guests and the site
Enforce rules and regulations to ensure smooth operation of the site
Respond effectively to emergency situations, document appropriately, and communicate according to established guidelines
Provide support and structure, addressing guest/resident problems or concerns
Uphold the values of CTI - Equity, Integrity, Compassion
High School Diploma or equivalent education
Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills in basic computer software and data collection
Bilingual skills
