Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
This is a 13-week contract position.
3x12-hour shifts, Days, from 07:00 to 19:00.
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for delivering quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department. This role involves assessing patients, providing emergency interventions, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort. The ER RN will work collaboratively with the medical team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health issues.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
Provide support and guidance to patients and families in crisis.
Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
Perform triage duties as needed based on patient acuity.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department.
Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS are required.
TNCC certification preferred.
