Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework aligned to Medical Laboratory Science. Six months of experience in a medical laboratory setting.
- Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge in laboratory functions.
Certification at the technologist or medical/clinical lab scientist level from ASCP, AMT, ASM, AAB, AABB, ACS, or HEW.
