Buyer (Full-Time) - Purchasing - Remote
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support purchasing operations, the full-time Buyer will research, develop, negotiate, and manage contracts for supplies and services while working in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
Prepares and processes requisitions for assigned commodities, ensuring compliance with departmental guidelines
Reviews purchase order history to secure the best pricing for medical supplies and services
Acts as a liaison between the Purchasing department and customers, coordinating vendor meetings and product evaluations
Required qualifications:
1 to 3 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement
Bachelor's degree preferred
Familiarity with contract negotiation and vendor management
Experience with Group Purchasing Organizations and market analysis
Proficiency in preparing reports and analyzing purchasing data
