The department manager will direct business operations of the Commercial install department with the objective to create, foster, and maintain safety-conscious, positive employee relations using a lead by example approach, effective communication, coaching, training, and development.What You'll DoManage day-to-day operations of the entry door service departmentPromote and participate in process improvements, looking for opportunities to do things more effectively and efficientlyCommunicate regularly with members of management to review business results, share observations, and provide feedbackCommunicate with customers, ensuring the highest quality of service has been providedImprove individual performance of the field force you manage through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviewsManage, provide leadership for, and develop staff through effective communication, coaching, training, and development for continued success and/or for future advancementLead monthly sales and performance department meetingsOther duties as assigned by ManagerWhat You BringBachelor's degree, highly preferred and a minimum of four (4) years of experience managing personnel; an equivalent combination of education and experience can be consideredResponsible for communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction levels consistently exceed expectationsReview customer survey data, respond to customer concernsMust be committed to a high standard of safety, and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and policiesMust possess a Valid Driver's License and good driving recordAbility to work on-site at our Tempe, AZ location.Our managers are skilled at scheduling, dispatching, project management, and managing labor costs.
