Welder Helper (Day & Night Shift)

The Welder Helper supports the welding and fabrication team by preparing materials, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and assisting welders with daily production tasks. This role is ideal for candidates with general labor or manufacturing experience who are interested in developing welding and fabrication skills in a fast-growing industrial environment.

Shift Schedules (Rotating Weekly)

Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

~ A Shift:

• Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Friday

~(B Shift:

• Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday
• Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
• (Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

~ C Shift:

• Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday
• Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday

~(D Shift:

• Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
• (Assist welders with setup, material preparation, and fabrication tasks

Prepare materials by sanding, grinding, and laying out brackets

Perform tack welding as trained

Support fabrication, grinding, sanding, prepping, and material inspection

Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment

Replenish welding and fabrication consumables on the shop floor

Follow safety procedures and assist with maintaining equipment

General labor or production experience

Experience with grinding and basic fabrication tasks

Willingness to train and learn welding processes

Basic welding experience or welding school exposure

Construction, fabrication, or sandblasting experience

General manufacturing, construction or industrial work experience

Opportunities to gain hands-on welding and fabrication experience

Company expansion includes the addition of a new night shift

This position is based in a highly industrial indoor and outdoor fabrication facility . Candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions and in an environment similar to a construction site rather than a traditional manufacturing plant.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pueblo, CO.
