Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care ICU

The Registered Nurse (RN) CVICU Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the cardiovascular intensive care unit. In collaboration with the Director, they ensure high-quality patient care, staff management, fiscal accountability, and achievement of strategic goals. They demonstrate flexibility in handling emergencies, staffing changes, and crisis situations, delegating tasks effectively. Additionally, they monitor and improve patient care quality via unit-based quality programs and PI initiatives, perform routine duties such as chart checks, supply management, and documentation, and perform related tasks as needed.

Associates degree in Nursing required.

Valid Multi-State RN License or equivalent, with application to obtain in-state license if necessary.

Preferred: 2-3 years of acute care or similar experience with demonstrated leadership skills.

Oversee patient care, staffing, and unit operations.

Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance.

Respond effectively to emergencies and unpredicted situations.

Delegate and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth unit functioning.
