Job Description
Wound Care Specialist
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (No Holidays or Weekends)
Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:

Mandatory Wound Care Certification
Minimum of 3 years of experience in wound care
American Heart Association BLS
ACLS preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, and implement care for patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and both acute and chronic wounds.
Provide comprehensive care and education to patients and their families/significant others regarding wound and ostomy care.
Evaluate, select, and recommend supplies and equipment to optimize wound and ostomy care.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
