Location: Utica, New York

Pay Rate: $1,800 To $2,088/week

Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience: Minimum 2 years required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Utica, New York. This role supports adult medical-surgical patients, including post-surgical care cases, and requires strong Med Surg nursing experience, prior travel experience, EPIC documentation skills, and the ability to float as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for adult Med Surg and post-surgical patients
• Monitor patients with abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery needs
• Manage IV pumps, N/G tubes, feeding tubes, and other unit-specific patient care needs
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and updates accurately using EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float as needed to support patient care

Requirements

• Active New York RN License Required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• AHA ,BLS,BCLS Certification Required
• Must provide skills checklist, driver's license, NURSYS verification, and RTO at submission
