Job Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Schedule
Day shift, 3x12 hours (06:30 - 19:00). Weekend and call schedules are variable and will be discussed during the interview.
Assignment Details
Minimum contract length is 8 weeks; local candidates accepted at the same rate. Non-billable orientation hours will be determined by contract length.
Requirements

• 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel.
• Experience in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics required.
• Full compliance is required to start on time, including background checks and drug screens.
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days, and no holiday requests will be approved during blackout dates of 11/23-11/29 and 12/21-1/3.
• The unit does not accept first-time travelers.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room environment.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Adhere to established protocols and standards of care.
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of surgical instruments and supplies.
Monitor patient conditions throughout the surgical process.
Document patient care and progress accurately in medical records.

Compliance / Notes
Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine clinical fit. If clinically approved and within guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be conducted on a case-by-case basis.
