Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Colorado Start Date: July 9, 2026
Location: Englewood, Colorado

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Patient ratio typically 1:4 with charge nurse free of patient assignments. 20-bed Multi-Trauma Unit with dedicated nursing and tech support.
Highlights:
Level 1 trauma center specializing in highly complex and acute trauma patients
Advanced equipment including vents, feeding pumps, IV pumps, wound vacs, specialty beds, suction, and chest tubes
EMR system: Meditech / CPN
Strong team environment with supportive charge nurses and excellent physician collaboration
Exposure to diverse procedures including chest tube placement, bedside bronchoscopy, and management of trauma patients with trachs
Travel assignment with competitive compensation package
Requirements:
Current Colorado RN license or eligibility for compact license
Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Experience managing chest tubes, trauma patients, trachs, and suction procedures
Prior Meditech experience strongly preferred
Must be a team player who thrives in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
