Commercial Journeyman Plumber - Needed ASAP

Job Title: Plumber Helper

Join a dynamic team on commercial construction projects, starting with an immediate opportunity at TCU in Fort Worth. This role offers a chance to grow in the plumbing trade while working on high-profile developments throughout the DFW Metroplex, including universities, amphitheaters, hospitals, medical centers, and data centers.

Assist Journeyman Plumbers with the installation of commercial plumbing systems.

Install and assemble PVC, copper, cast iron, and other plumbing piping systems.

Measure, cut, thread, and fit pipe according to project specifications.

Assist with underground, rough-in, top-out, and fixture installation phases.

Read and interpret basic blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings.

Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.

Work alongside foremen and project teams to help keep projects on schedule.

1+ year of plumbing, mechanical, construction, or related trade experience preferred.

• Familiarity with commercial plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
• Positive attitude and desire to learn the plumbing trade.

Enrollment in or completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program.

This is a contract to hire opportunity with the potential for advancement. Helpers have progressed to Project Managers. The company is a family-owned business with over 100 active projects, providing a supportive environment for growth.

Work is conducted on commercial and light industrial construction job sites, starting at TCU in Fort Worth. Employees may be asked to travel to other jobs with a lead person, receiving mileage reimbursement. The work environment requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
