This job maintains and coordinates the medication ordering process for assigned areas to ensure that the most cost-effective products are utilized. Works with personnel involved with the operations for the distribution of medication, analyzes systems and operations of the departments via quality control measures in order to identify and rectify problems. Required - Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy

Preferred - Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharm.Work Experience

Required - 3 years of Pharmacy Practice

Required - Current Pharmacy License in State of Practice

Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information. Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.

Understanding of quality improvement.

Current knowledge of problems of practicing pharmacists and a general interest in the practice of pharmacy Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, make critical decisions and respond quickly to emergency requests.

Ensures quality of care and customer satisfaction.

Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
