Warehouse Person (Nights)

Night Warehouse WorkerOur client, a leading foodservice distributor in Coralville, IA, is seeking a dependable Night Warehouse Worker to support outbound shipping and general warehouse operations. The primary responsibilities of this position include securing outbound shipments with hand-wrapping material, preparing trailers for loading, removing empty boxes and trash, and thoroughly cleaning trailers. This is an overnight, evaluation-to-hire opportunity in a fast-paced warehouse environment. No interview is required, and training will be provided on the electric pallet jack.Key responsibilities include:Secure outbound shipments using hand-wrapping materialPrepare trailers for loading by removing empty boxes, trash, and debrisThoroughly clean trailers before products are loadedAssist with the efficient and accurate loading of route trucksSupport shipping and other warehouse operations as neededOperate an electric pallet jack after completing company-provided trainingMaintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse and trailer areasFollow all safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirementsNotify management of potential safety hazards or concernsAssist in other warehouse positions as assignedQualifications include:Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not requiredAbility to stand and walk frequently throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 50 poundsComfortable with frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, and liftingWilling and able to work in both dry and refrigerated warehouse areasDependable attendance and ability to work until all nightly duties are completedAbility to follow safety, sanitation, and GMP proceduresComfortable operating an electric pallet jack after trainingFlexibility to work occasional overtime as neededWork environment includes:Approximately two-thirds of the warehouse is maintained at an ambient temperature of around 70°FApproximately one-third of the warehouse is refrigerated and maintained at around 36°FRegular movement between dry and refrigerated warehouse areasFast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, and liftingHours:Sunday–Thursday6:00 p.m. until work is completed, typically between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.Occasional overtime may be requiredPay: $17/hourWhy you'll love working with Express:401K Retirement Plan: Secure your future with our employer-sponsored 401K program.Comprehensive Benefits Package: Including medical, dental, and vision coverage to keep you and your family healthy.Exclusive Savings Opportunities: Enjoy discounts on hotels, flights, electronics, tickets, and more to make your personal life even better!
